Amy Ingersoll, PA-C, MMS, FOMA is an obesity medicine specialist in Phoenix, AZ.

Beyond the office, Amy is immersed in helping to advocate and expand the understanding and complexity of obesity as a chronic disease. She has spoken both at a national and local level on obesity medicine. She is a subject matter expert for her national organization AAPA. She is a subject matter expert, coach, and consultant for the Primary Care Obesity Management to PAs and NPs. She is a Fellow of the Obesity Medicine Organization. She is president and founder at her national organizations, AAPA, PAs in Obesity Medicine special interest group, as well as president and founder of Arizona Obesity Organization.

She is an Adjunct Professor for Yale School of Medicine Online PA Program and co-created 10 hours of obesity medicine continuing medical education.

Amy received her BS from Southwest Minnesota State University where she obtained her undergraduate disease in Biology and Chemistry graduating Summa Cum Laude. She continued her education at Midwestern University and graduated with her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She continued her post graduate education and obtained the highest level of education in Obesity Medicine for PAs and has received a Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine for NPs and PAs.
